Furniture and appliances are generally quite heavy. To prevent collisions during transportation, many appliance manufacturers add pearl cotton during the packaging process. During packing, the pearl cotton is first firmly attached to the honeycomb cardboard. Now, for environmental protection and consumer safety, hot melt adhesive is used for bonding. The use of hot melt adhesive not only provides a good anti-theft function but also ensures that any attempt to open the box will tear the fibers of the cardboard due to the adhesive penetrating into it. Once opened, it cannot be restored, thus preventing counterfeit products. If tape is used, it can be cut open with a knife, allowing the contents to be removed without damaging the outer packaging and resealed again.
